Description
A Fruit Salad variety, a type of plumeria unique to Australia with speculation that all began with one tree naturally hybridizing in the wild over decades. Features spicy, sweet perfume. Flowers change drastically from almost pastel tones to fiery orange and gold depending on hot temperatures. Varieties differ in being large open trees to small and compact ones; from dark smooth brown bark to almost whitish and bumpy bark; range from 3 to 5 inches; some with long straight petals while others have distinct curl. Various varieties differ in petal shape and coloring, which vary throughout the season—can reflex backwards or bend inwards.
