Description
Aranya bears 3.5 to 4.5 inch cream flowers arranged in open trusses. Petals are oval and slightly overlapping, with a deep pink to purplish-pink band along the margin, orange and yellow toward the base, and red veining spreading from the center. The reverse is cream to almost white with a double band of maroon-purple and lighter pink. Fragrance is medium intensity, combining almond with a hint of citrus. Leaves are dark green with lighter veining and wider toward the tip. The plant is a strong grower.
