Description
Black Velvet is a Lyndie Wyes selection from Singapore. In heat, blooms take on a blackish color with a velvet appearance against a yellow eye; in heat and humidity they are said to resemble Jamaican Fire in their black, velvet quality. The scent is classic frangipani, similar to but not quite Celadine. A related entry mentions Black Violet, a gorgeous deep dark lavender plumeria with 3 inch petals and a red center.
