Bonnie Fox
Colors
CreamYellowRed
Description
Bonnie Fox resembles but is not identical to Volcano Goddess. Flowers are about 4 inches, sienna red with gold stripes, often with six petals, and have excellent keeping quality similar to Madame Poni. They grow in massive clusters. The fragrance is very strong, often described as resembling Celadine or beer. Reports on bloom performance conflict: some describe it as a profuse, heavy bloomer with strong branching, while others call it a stingy or poor bloomer until the plant is well established. It is not cold tolerant and requires heat and sun to look its best. A related or similar note describes a medium tree bearing 3–4-inch peachy cream and yellow flowers with a compact habit.
