Description
An Abigail seedling producing light pink flowers with dark pink edge and sharp yellow eye. 3-inch blooms with excellent rose fragrance and phenomenal keeping quality—flowers remain fresh for a full week. Compact grower like Abigail, always among first to bloom, continuing all summer. Prolific bloomer. 2.5-inch blooms with full rounded, overlapping petals in beautiful pink and white mix. Plant grows upright with good wood thickness. Superbly bred by Luc Vanoorbeeck (Florida), highly regarded breeder, who also bred Abigail. Semi-dwarf to medium landscaping tree with gorgeous flowers. Even more compact form with slightly darker colored flowers. Medium to large flowers in large tight bunches with very round, overlapping petals. Huge flower heads. Broad, well-rounded petals fold back in pincushion shape. Deep pink and white with dark maroon throat. Lovely perfume. Petals turn brown right before falling. Slow grower. Sets seed.
