Corona Surprise
Colors

Description
Discovered by Mike and Stacy Atkinson growing in a yard in Corona, California. The fragrance is an intoxicating mix of sweet and heavy spice. Possibly a JL seed from the 1990s sold by a Southern California nursery, though JL denies record of it. It is a very hearty and vigorous grower with generous blooming habit. The blooms show widely variable coloration with medium keeping quality. Cold tolerant and keeps leaves over winter. Hard to root but drops buds when young and in certain climates such as the desert, so partial shade is recommended. Sets seed.
