Giant Spider produces large 5-inch-plus flowers with thin, yellow petals and a light fragrance. It is sometimes mistaken for Spidery Yellow, a completely different cultivar, but differs in having a light fragrance (Spidery Yellow has none) and a less rangy growth habit, tending to form a more attractively shaped tree.
