Gladstone Pink (Gladys Kamakaku'okalani Brandt) is an orange and pink cultivar originating in Hawaii, named by JL Farms for a prominent woman of Hawaiian ancestry. The flowers are 3 to 5 inches across, salmon-pink to brilliant orange with prominent red or pink veins, a moderate orange center, and a pink band on the back of the petals. Petals are nicely round, thick, slightly pointed at the tip, and slightly to moderately overlapping. The fragrance is sweet with nutmeg notes. Blooms appear in nice bundles that are noticeable from a distance. Hard to root.

Brandt orange and pink originating in Hawaii. 3" with nice sweet scent. Nutmeg scent. Gladys Kamakaku'okalani Brandt was named for a beautiful and powerful woman of Hawaiian ancestry by JL Farms. There are not enough superlatives to describe her eventful life in Hawaii. Salmon-rainbow 4-5” orange with prominent veins, Salmon-pink with large, moderate orange center, nice round thick petal with lightly tip, slightly overlapping. Hard to root. Brilliant orange with pink color toward outter layer of the petals, big flowers 4 inches to 4.5 inches, pink band on the back of the petal, sweet fragrance and nice texture. Bloom in a nice bundles, very noticable from the distance.
