Hawaiian Royal Color (distinct from Royal Hawaiian) is a 3.5-inch flower with a deep gold front and a solid red reverse; in high heat a red stripe also appears on the front of the petals. The fragrance is good and very intense on a very small bloom, and keeping quality is very good. The mother tree is no longer in existence. It is hard to root, though others report fast rooting.
