Description
Hazel B, a Glenn Stokes seedling (not Tomlinson Pink), is a 3-inch white flower splashed with rose pink with a burnt-orange to small deep-yellow center. The flower is lighter in color with a purple-pink tinge on the edge, heavier on the curve flowing toward the center. It carries a nice frangipani fragrance, sets seed, and differs notably from Tomlinson. A related entry describes Hazy Pink Singapore as a changeable 2.5 to 3 inch grainy pink and white flower with a large, bright yellow center melting into the petals, a fresh sweet scent, and very good keeping quality; the color shifts through the bloom cycle. Heartbeat is noted as having a sweet, tootie-fruity/mixed-fruit scent similar to Miami Rose.
