Description
. Sweet frangipani scent. Medium to tall grower with elliptical green leaves with light red edge and acute hooked tips.
Appearance
. 2.5-3”. Cup shaped petals with tips that curl inwards. White with a bright yellow center with pink tips that turn in. Tips seem to curl more on cooler days. Thick texture. Heart of Erin Oz Coral Coast. Pink seedling of Thai Lanna. Tends to black tip. Heart of Fire Tahiti Heart of Gold Oz #324 in 2006. Dark pink 3”. Rounded highly overlapping petals, with upturned inner edge and with red bands on reverse. Large veiny golden yellow center. Easiest to flower and grow. Pink to deep red, based on temperatures. The more heat, the deeper the coloration. A brilliant golden center that goes half way into the petals. Extremely fragrant. Needs heat to bring out colors. One of the first 6 Aussie plumerias registered with PSA as well as the first in a group of Australian plumeria imported by a consortium made up of Kathee Brewer, Brad and Hetty. The flowers range from pink to deep red, based on your temperatures. The more heat, the deeper the coloration. Brilliant golden center that goes out half way into the petals.
Bloom
Great grower, prolific bloomer, and gorgeous color. The branches tend to be thin and a lovely shape, strong grower, prolific bloomer.
Fragrance
Sweet frangipani scent. Strong veined look, and a pretty floral sweet perfume. Coconut fragrance with excellent keeping quality with high tendency to fade. The scent is of sweet coconuts. The branches are very long and thin, which is a shame because the flowers are gorgeous and carry a lovely coconut scent. The scent is of sweet coconuts.
Growth & Foliage
Medium to tall grower with elliptical green leaves with light red edge and acute hooked tips. 2.5-3" in tight bunches on a compact tree. Semi-compact growth. Leggy growth habit. 2.5-3″ blooms in tight bunches of blooms on a semi-compact growing tree.
