Moragne. Not the same as Jean Moragne Jr. Upland. This variety came from a person named Kent Ames of Southern Plumeria Society of San Diego in 1995. He mentioned that this is the original Jeannie Moragne from Hawaii. We honored his information and that’s the reason why we keep his initial after the name of the plant. It is very intense hot pink, orange, and yellow, thick petals. Petals long, pointed and overlapping. Dark pink band on the soft pink almost white back petals, 3 to 3.5 inches in diameter, pinkish red buds, light fragrance. Similar to Katie Moragne but smaller and brighter color. Plant itself is slow grows and compact growing habit which compared to other Moragne family.
