Lemon Lime A
Colors
WhiteYellow
Description
Produces 3.5-4" big, fluffy white flowers with large yellow centers and green streaks in the throat. Green veining appears only under favorable conditions, most notably on early-season blooms, newly rooted plants, and cuttings; flowers also become larger during heat waves. Buds resemble those of Celadine, and leaves show the Celadine double leaf vein. Fragrance is a very potent, clean, crisp citrus lemon-lime scent, distinct from Celadine. Keeping quality is excellent, lasting days. Sets seed. A Sicilian version exists that looks identical but is a different plant.
