Description
A gorgeous Thai cultivar producing intense pink flowers with complex coloring and patterning. Beautiful off-pink background displays red veining spreading across each petal with intense pink tints producing nets of conspicuous pink. Golden-red colors dust from center toward each petal. Petals strongly overlap in rounded form, creating cup-shaped flowers with perfect circular form. Fresh and sweet fragrance accompanies blooms. 3-4 inches. Possibly from Preecha. Nonthaburi is a district in Thailand where they hold a beauty pageant each year. Also documented with variations: 2.5-inch flower with nice scent, pink with white specks and orange-red center with streaky red star. Nopakaw means a ring decorated with 9 gems in Thai. Some forms smell like Silly Putty. Compact growth. Sets seed.
