P. Isabella Mysterious
Description
Species originating in Colombia, South America. Like other wild Plumeria species, the flowers are white with a small yellow center, about 2 inches across, and carry a slight frangipani or clean floral fragrance that is not strong. Leaves are fuzzy (pubescent), large, wavy, broad, and arrow-shaped, similar to P. pudica. Somewhat tall medium tree that can have swooping branches. Blooms nearly nonstop through warm months, thrives on neglect, and is hardly bothered by rust. The variety has several origin stories; the only consistent fact is that it was named for the woman in whose garden it was found. Sets seed.
