Description
Thai name translates literally to 'Diamond of the First Water,' meaning 'the Finest Quality Diamond.' Produces 3-inch flowers in hemispherical trusses reminiscent of Rhododendron. Petals overlap, are slightly twisted, and of good substance, white with a large yellow area. Flower buds are greenish-yellow. Fragrance is medium. Leaves are dark green and non-shiny with lighter veining, wavy margins, and tips that hook downward like those of Penang Peach. Plant is compact and well-branching.
