Named after famous Queensland fish. Clusters of star-shaped flowers that are deep dark red color. Unusual spicy scent, milder than most plumeria flowers. Blooms quite late in season, making it worth the wait. One of the longest-lasting frangipani flowers in cultivation. When flowers first open, intensely red; as they age, a beautiful orange throat develops. Scent stronger when freshly picked.
