Description
Very cold intolerant, producing lumpy new tips from damage. According to Sue Hand, the plant was treated with radiation. Since the original in-ground plant was trimmed, it has become a very stingy grower, even before the trim when it grew like a helicopter. It never produced many flowers, though the blooms it did set were beautiful. Growth pattern is nubby with huge leaves.

Sue Hand: Since we trimmed the original plant that is in the ground it seems to be a very stingy grower even before it’s trim because it grew like a helicopter; it never put out a whole lot of flowers but what he did they were beautiful.
