Anecdotal Notes
Diana

Mexico. Ruffled white 2 ½” with small yellow center. The limbs are thin and flexible. It's supposed to be a heat tolerant and cold hardy plumeria. Collected in the wild by Bill Baker @ 6200 ft elevation near the town of Atolition, Puebla Mexico June 1987. It is hardy and will grow in snow and temps down to 10 degrees F (unsubstantiated... dd). A white with typical Plumeria smell and look. Very long bloom season. White with a yellow throat, slow growing with silvery green leaves and slender stems. Classic Frangipani fragrance. Cuttings tend to rot, should be grafted. Slow to come out of dormancy. Green tea scent. Fuzzy grey green narrow leaves. This is a regular, prolific bloomer. She is supposed to be cold hardy. She is slow to grow leaves. Each summer I sweat it, wondering if she is rotting as her claws don't want to open. But when she grows leaves, she pushes inflos in almost every branch. She smells like jasmine. Sets seed. Siesa Girl Orange, rootable.
