Description
This cultivar has distinctive purples and is rated by far as the best in this color. It produces super thick 3 to 4 inch blooms on medium-growing, thick-wooded tree with compact, dense growth, not tall and gangly like most purples. The coloration goes from greys to lavenders to deep rich lavender and gold hues, all accented with orange-yellow center. In high heat, the edges turn dark purple and color depth increases to deep eggplant hue, often outlined in white. The fragrance is strong and sweet with a touch of spice. The plant has attractive deep purple buds, strong bloom production, cold tolerance, and fuzzy pedicle. The growth habit is super compact and thick with light pleasant to strong sweet scent.
