Description
An open pollination of a King Kalakau seedling. Resembles King Kalakau but with greater petal overlap and a slightly larger flower head. Produces a beautiful white flower with a yellow center. A related cultivar, White Lightning from Kukiat, is a seedling of Mardi Gras with unusual and beautiful coloration.

Beautiful white flower with yellow center; greater petal overlap and a slightly larger flower head than King Kalakau.
Fragrance
Scent similar to gardenia.
