Bali Hai, known locally in Bali as Chendana, is an all-yellow plumeria that blooms when leafless. It is tall, has a strong scent and a long bloom season, and sets seed. It is distinct from Bali Hai Gold (Chendana Gold), which differs by having a brownish cast on the petal backs and seldom sets seed.
