Description

Produces tiny 2-inch white flowers with yellow center and red bands on reverse. Also exhibits 2-inch pink coloring. Compact, slow grower. Buds are deep maroon with strong rose fragrance. Good keeping quality. Short, overlapped, round-tipped, cupped-shaped flowers. Deep yellow center with white edges. Maroon band curls outward with very distinct maroon veins. Medium tendency to fade; when faded, maroon bands and veins come together forming lavender thick band. Yellow center fades to turn flower yellow. 1.5-inch variant. Open pollinated seedling named in honor of late Ben Bednar, father of Todd Bednar.
