Description
Caroline B is a Florida Colors Nursery seedling of Pink Pansy, named by Glenn Stokes for his granddaughter. Flowers are white, 3 to 4 inches, with a strong pink (sometimes described as deep pink) edge and a gold-and-pink center with pink rays radiating outward; a light pink blush can appear across the entire flower. Fragrance is strong frangipani, sometimes described as intense marzipan. It is a medium grower and a medium-short tree with narrow, pointed leaves and a distinctly low-branching habit suitable for growers focused on that trait. The flower is noted as pleasantly scented rather than especially striking.
