Description

Cleone is very similar to the better-known Aussie Pink, except distinguished by its pendulous flower stalk. The fragrance is lovely and sweet with a strong tropical essence combining vanilla, ylang-ylang, and mango notes. A secondary reference notes Cleopatra-type cultivars: at least three different Cleopatras exist on the market with 3.5-4 inch orange, pink, and gold flowers featuring asymmetrical broad petals of good substance, often with red blotches or splashes, and fresh cool fragrance with dark green elliptical leaves with pointed tips.
