Cobra #212 from Ken Ames is distinguished by its unique hooded cobra-like leaves that resemble a King Cobra ready to strike. The cultivar produces soft white and yellow flowers with a thin pink edge and reflexed petals, pink buds, and light pink bands on reverse with gardenia fragrance. The keeping quality is above average with a slight tendency to fade. The cultivar is a medium grower and heavy bloomer with average branching. Elliptical green leaves have acute tips and characteristic hooded reflexing appearance. However, it takes a long time to bloom.
