Description
Dtawan Tong produces 3 to 3.5 inch cream-yellow flowers with pink hues. The related Dto Nueng (dtaw nueng) produces 3 to 3.5 inch white, purplish-pink and yellow flowers with red and dark pink veining and a white-and-maroon reverse.
Appearance
Almost circular petals, strongly overlapping and slightly twisted. Good substance. For Dto Nueng: overlapping oval petals with pointed tips, white with a dark purplish pink marginal band, yellow and gold in the lower half with red and dark pink veining radiating from the center; reverse is white and maroon with medium substance.
Fragrance
Fresh and sweet, medium intensity. Dto Nueng: medium, sweet.
Growth & Foliage
Compact and well-branching habit. Leaves are dark olive-green, non-glossy, with conspicuous texture. Dto Nueng leaves are medium green, broad elliptical with pointed tips.
