Description

Dwarf Singapore (#110) produces 1.5 inch white flowers with a small brilliant yellow center and no pink or red bands on the front or back. Petals are wide with round tips, highly overlapping, with moderate texture and good keeping quality. It is reported to be an F1 hybrid between Singapore and King Kalakaua. Jim Little notes that dwarfs may lose this growth pattern around 8 feet; the defining traits are the short leaf nodes and slow growth rate.

Reported to be an Fl hybrid between ‘Singapore’ and ‘King Kaläkaua’. Jim Little states that dwarfs can loose this growth pattern at 8'. The real difference is the shortness of leaf nodes and slow growth rate. To keep a dwarf maintained in a pot, root trim every 3rd yr in spring and branch trimming at 2nd or 3rd node to encourage branching.
