Description

Loretta displays remarkable variability in appearance and can have many faces. Overall pink grainy with orange-yellow center and citrus fragrance. Wide oval petals of pink and white with red flecks and yellow center. Long flowering period and good keeping qualities with very sweet lemon fragrance. Moderate pink and white with moderate red spot in small brilliant yellow center. Grainy pigmentation with wide oval petals, rounded tips, moderately overlapping, deep pink grainy band on back, good texture. 2.5-3 inches, slight sweet scent, good keeping quality. 3-inch violet-pink to white with brilliant orange-yellow center. Excellent keeping quality and good texture with interesting grainy pigmentation. Extraordinary fragrance similar to gardenias. One of the most underrated plumerias, flowering like crazy, setting pods, branching well, and compact. Great roots, never has rot or black tip. Strong scent reminiscent of freshly popped sweet kettle corn. When established and happy, generous bloomer and tip former. Can get really woody and tends to get fungus on old leaf scars. Sets seed.
